Becca Janiak, DSL
CHIEF LEARNING OFFICER
Dr. Becca Janiak has served at the grassroots level of government as an elementary school teacher, all way to the Executive Branch at the White House, with other agencies and branches in between. What she enjoys most is helping people grow, succeed, and develop their skills, abilities, and talents. From teaching school-aged children to working with global colleagues to equip leaders in Africa, her goal is to help others know, understand, and embolden their own potential. She holds a Masters of Public Administration and a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership.
Christa L. Remington, PhD
DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT RESEARCH
Dr. Christa Remington is an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Affairs at the University of South Florida where she specializes in how cultural competence, leadership, and public policy impact the practice of emergency management. Through her interdisciplinary research she aims to improve the effectiveness of post-disaster response and recovery work and reduce the negative impacts of the job on those responding.
Charity Remington, DSL
DIRECTOR OF FUTURE STUDIES
Dr. Charity Remington is the executive director of The Mission Haiti, a nonprofit scholarship program that serves more than 1,000 students in rural Haiti. She holds a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership from Regent University. Her research connects organization performance and best practices for collaboration, communication and trust building
